Joint Sealant

For sealing, waterproofing and durability protection at building joints: door/window perimeters, curtain wall joints, structural connection joints, roof/gutter/flashings construction joints, expansion joints, and wall/floor joints. Backing materials and gap-filling foams may be used to control sealant geometry (e.g., three-sided adhesion control) and enhance waterproofing performance.

Shall comply with project specifications and applicable local regulations. Sealant systems shall meet the required performance criteria (e.g., adhesion, elasticity and movement accommodation, UV/weather/water resistance, workmanship). Exact values, test methods and acceptance criteria shall follow project specifications and test reports.

Provides common building joint sealant categories: silicone, polyurethane, polysulfide, acrylic, and hybrid sealants/mastics. Applications cover weatherproof sealing, waterproof joint sealing, and seal joints under different movement requirements. Compatible accessories include backing rods (e.g., closed-cell foam rods) and gap-filling foams to control sealant depth, improve installation consistency, and enhance long-term durability.
