Prestressing Steel Strand & Anchorages
For prestressed concrete highway/railway bridges, box girders, viaducts, long-span beams and transfer girders. Strand carries prestressing tension; anchorages lock and transfer the force into concrete, enabling increased capacity and spans with controlled deflection when appropriately designed.
Strand: Available to ASTM A416/A416M, BS 5896, GB/T 5224 and JIS G 3536; certification documents also reference AS/NZS 4672 and KS D 7002. Anchorages: Listed test references include BS EN 13391:2004, ETAG 013 (2002), AASHTO LRFD Bridge Construction Specifications (2010) and FIP (1992). Applicable editions and compliance are subject to project requirements and supporting test documents.
Strand: Common seven-wire sizes 9.53 / 12.70 / 15.20–15.24 mm, with grades including 1725 / 1860 MPa; dimensions and grades selected to the applicable standard. Anchorages: 3–37-strand configurations for 15.24 mm strand and 2–5-strand flat anchorages; simultaneous multi-strand stressing, duct-based corrosion protection and design/installation support.
Track record across multiple international projects. Subject to project-specific approval by the owner, engineer, or consultant.
